Re: Vintage film cameras
Sounds like it may be a junker then. At least you have a lens for a possible future buy.
Craig, it's hard to put a price on it as film is on the up. I reckon there is at least £50 of film there.

I like the design of this camera, especially the lens release.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I didn't realise that the two tabs on the lens do different things. The left one is a release, but the right one is a dof preview button.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I like the OM10 too. I just find the controls - mode selection and exposure adjustment - a bit fiddly. Apart from that, it's a nice light, easy to use camera.

Re: Vintage film cameras
It's going good. Body clock has adjusted but really busy. However, it's mid-autumn festival next week, which is a public holiday, so I've got a couple of days off. Will try to get out and take more photos. Maybe experiment with some night shots to see what the OMD can do although the best aperture I've got is 3.5.

I found one well known fault with the camera. It didn't fix it entirely though. There's a very ominous rattle coming from inside too. Looks like it's going to be an ornament.
