Default New rule at Sainsbury's

The new rule at Sainsburys is that you must get off your bike and put it on the stand before you fill up. Apparently it is in case the bike falls over or you....CATCH FIRE!..... because sainsburys would be liable for that....

Oh but they didn't mind when I paid with my lid on

I thought everyone put their bikes on stands anyway?
Either way I think it's a sensible request, you run the risk of damaging your bike never mind catching fire!

i gotta say i sit on my bike when i fill up just because its upright when doing so (i only have a side stand)

personally more likely to av a spillage on side stand + i wanna fill the blurry thing right up.....wont happen on the wonk/side-stand!

hmmmm.... well theyre not going to refuse sale if you fill it up whilst sitting on it. Just do what you want, i dont see the problem.
