yeah, given the choice though I would much rather cartwheel through a field for 100m than hit a stone wall at 150mph.

Very true, that old tank slapper crash that always gets shown is another one the makes me pull a stupid face and sharply suck in some air

bottom of bray hill, really not a good place to crash. There are better videos of that one.

Every time I see that scene of cummins going off it makes my stumock turn.

Nice video but no need for that three times

I can't remember where I saw it, but the guy who did the bike wobble then hit the wall was properly messed up for a long time. A marshal practically saved his life by standing in front of him and causing bikes to swerve round him until the flags slowed them down. Pretty sure he never rode professionally again, where as I believe Cummin's was riding again the next year.

Best not to hit brick walls, or fly off cliffs at 100mph+, in case that wasn't obvious.

Yeah i'm pretty sure that cummins was out the year after racing again.
The TT is what i want to do at least once in my life. Might plan on it for next year and start saving!

It'd be an awesome thing to do, but I can't think of any race experience more dangerous. Me and my mates have mentioned it in passing, but never seriously considered it. It'd be quality though!
