Yes it did Pegs go down before the pannier, so I have warning. I did follow a Pan-European over the mountain that was two up with panniers and he had sparks off the exhausts and big scrapes on his panniers though... gave him a big thumbs up as I passed

If you fancy a bit of road racing don't forget about Northern Ireland, there are plenty of events with big name racers and also lots to do and see. TT is the daddy but a bit of a budget breaker.
