Hi All,

I'm trying arrange my trackday diary and want to try some new circuits. Question is which circuit do you prefer at Rockingham - National or International? and why?

Neither. Not a fan. Definately a marmite circuit.

Where have you been? I'd Reccomend Anglesey if you have never been. Or save your pennies for a Brands GP day.

National is the best, international is not so great on a bike.

It's fairly flat in compariso ln angelsey or cadwell but I still think it's awsome... Great surface too.

Yeah, i'd give Rockingham a miss to. Spend your monies elsewhere.

But if you had to, choose the National circuit. No crud banking on it...

I've done both and dropped it on the Int'l so I might be biased!.

The Int'l circuit uses some of the oval whcih is OK, you have to go through a chicane in the middle to keep speeds down a bit. The entrances to and from the oval are tight and bumpy and this puts a lot of people off. Also the Int'l is longer but you miss a couple of fast corners on the National circuit which really are great.

The National is a nice flowing circuit, some quick corners, a tight switcback before start finish straight and a good number of left as well as right corners. CSS use the National track as it gives you a bit of everything.

The Rock does lack a bit of atmosphere but the layout, especially National, is very nice IMO

National is a good SV 650 circuit as its mostly corners and doesnt show up the lack of power too much.
