Helmet shopping
Just for info.
There's a company, helmetcity.co.uk, that are selling what seem really resonably priced Shoeis. I don't know what their customer service is like (i'm about to find out) but I picked up an XR1000 for less than £200 which seemed pretty good. If it doesn't come with a giant dent in it i'll consider it a good deal. Thought i'd post in case anyone else was helmet shopping. mary |

Re: Helmet shopping
Not yet - but one the same size in a shop...
I think the cheapest are cheap because they are for less usual sizes - the Ms and the Ss have gone. I didn't realise it until I started motorbiking but apparently I have an XS head which can be quite useful when it comes to purchasing lids! mary |

Re: Helmet shopping
They have probably all fallen off the production line and have invisible damage
Nah only kidding, are they last years colours or coming upto 2 years old? I got a good deal on a shoei XR1000 as it was last years colours.....I believe helmets have a shelf life of 2 years and after this date they have to be reduced in price and a notice showing they are over 2 years old.
