Default Cleaning fuel filler drain

I need to clean out the drain hole next to the fuel cap as its all full of gunk and dirt. (dont want water to get into the fuel!)

just wondering the best way of cleaning it. I dont want to just push the dirt down into the hole as this will block it further down. where does the hole go. is there a hose that takes water away and down the side of the bike?

i hope that makes sense!

If you get the tank propped up there should be a hose attached to it somewhere that leads to nothing(down side of your bike somewhere).

Check it's got no kinks in first and then maybe blow down it?
Try and find something long and thin enough to fit down? (pipecleaners/the things from playschool) thats if there is actually anything stuck in there.

Have fun

Open fuel cap, lift tank, identify drain hose stub* and remove hose, poke airline in stub, blow .

*Bottom rear of tank, adjacent to hinge.
