anyone know where i can get some brass springs, as in shop i can walk into now and get them now lol?

Errrr..............nope, straining as hard as I can I still can't see what sort of calibre you're talking about.

Give us a clue, a couple of mm long, a couple of metres, tension, compression, leaf, torsion, what sort of rate or forces involved................???? Is it to replace an existing one, or a new application?

Why brass? It's not a normal material for springs, doesn't really have the right properties, but I've seen phosphor-bronze used for some types. Could it be in stainless steel?

If anyones interested I have 2 sets, not tried them out but intended to use them if the curvy hadn't been stolen.
