Airbox - Stupid Question Time
Hi,
Apologises for the really daft question i'm about to ask but me and mechanics do not go. However, I've discovered a pipe has disconnected itself from underneath the airbox on the left hand side. Due to the location of the pipe its very difficult to get to it to push back on including the retaining washer thingy. I think it would help if I part / fully removed the airbox. 1. Do I just undo the jubilee clip connected to the airbox and remove ? 2. Is there anything else I should be aware of ie wires / pipes disconnecting themselves. Thanks Andy |

On a curvy, yes - it's just the 2 jubilee clips.
But - you can reattach the the pipe in question with the airbox inplace. Tis a bit fiddly though.

Probably should have said its on a pointy.
During my lunch hour tried to refit the pipe and I dont think its possible through the limited openings in the frame. |

Make sure the pipe isnt being pushed down by the pipes/cables around it as this could be the reason it popped off. |

Re: Airbox - Stupid Question Time
It's a breather pipe from the engine crank cases. if it comes undone at the bottom it's rather messy.....
