I can vouch for Dave's bike, lovely example and sounds awesome with the staintune cans. Hasn't quite got the grunt of a Sprint, but still a very quick and capable bike.

I bought mine in 2013. An A6 with ABS and 18k miles. I love it to bits. I can ride it for hours and get off as fresh as a daisy, whereas the SV crippled me on long journeys. It just does everything well and without fuss. The only problem I've had was in pouring rain (monsoon) when the engine died twice on the M25. Not fun. I've never gotten to the bottom of that. I can't replicate either with a hose.
