Default GM IV - Friday Night Food

OK Guys n Gals.

As Stuarty has intimated, The Old Smiddy, is the suggested eatery for the Friday nicht followed by a sample of the local hostelries.

What we need to get a handle on is numbers of those interested.

1. To organise Transport.
2. To advise the Old Smiddy as they are intending to close the place just for us if there is enough folks interested.

We would be intending to head there for about 7PM.

I have scanned in the Me 'n' You for your perusal (thanks to 'The Old Smiddy' for permitting me to do this !) along with a couple of pics of the place.

Please indicate your preference in the poll above.

Voted no, but I'll probably meet you there if you are all still going to be there for a few drinks after the meal, but it will be well after you have all eaten and we'll have grabbed a maccy D's on the road somewhere.

If you are still going to be there I could probably offer a couple of seats in the back of the car to get back to the campsite.

I'll go for some of that. How far is it from the campsite?

To save any unpleasantness, you should all know that if I get the Tapas Platter for Sharing...it's not for sharing.

Those who have met me will know...TAM DOESN'T SHARE FOOD.

it must be further than walking distance if the organisers are talking about transport there and back.

About 4 miles. It's walkable if your feeling energetic and your used to that kind of thing, but it'll take over an hour each way, possibly 90 minutes on the way back if your a bit blootered.
