Default oh dear, getting to know my new R1

How come the world seems to be scattered with mechanical numpties? Anybody spot the mistake here?

Chain adjuster block needs to be rotated 90 degrees

The adjuster is out by 90 and spindle is backwards

The spindle is in the correct way for this bike, but yeah the chain tension adjuster block is wrong and more importantly the frickin caliper mount isn't in place properly.

The wheel had been mounted with no spacer at some stage too leaving damage to the other side of the swing arm, the work was carried out at Wolverhampton Triumph apparently. They came out to the guys house to refit the spacer but conveniently forgot to mention the damage.

if that were my bike someone would have a sore face or a complete bollocking depending on their attitude as its potentially putting my life in danger. that's shocking for main dealer work.

get in touch Triumph and report them.

jeezz i go nuts at my local for scratching my rims when tyre fitting.

Yeah, definitely needs a good complaint being placed, if for nothing else other than a reminder that the dealership needs to get their house in order
