Default An SV is re-born

I've decided to keep an online diary of what i've done on the SV so that people can be kept updated and alson point out if theres anything i've missed. Please not that this is a part-time project and i'll only really be working on it on sundays, because some of us young folks still need an education.

Sunday 15th July
Mounted engine
Relised that to fit the exhaust stub you have to un-mount the engine
Did that
Fitted exhaust system (improvised with bolts and washers)
Connected wiring to engine
Attatched clutch cable and ajusted it
Fitted Throttle cables to carb and handle bars
Put Carbs on the engine.
Couldnt figure out the wiring so removed the carbs (will have a nice word with mark)

Missing bits
Couple of the engine mounting bolts
Front Cylinder HT lead

Hey it was all there when I parked it up ( although that was a few years ago ).

Don't worry we'll sort it

Cheers Mark.

When are you going to be fitting the super-loud stereo?

Only joking, Mishelly, I think it's fantastic that you're doing this. Your uncle told me about giving you the SV when we had the meet at Fox's Diner, and I thought then what a cool thing that was........and better still, you are determined to learn about the bike and do the work yourself. Maybe we'll meet you at Fox's Diner with your uncle in the not too distant future, eh?
