yup.. you cant expect a single hub to do a whole house. find the dead spots and put a repeater/access point there. those plug in ones are superb (you can also set them up as a NAS) for easy install. best are wired with power over ethernet. homeplug are pretty darn good as well but can cause issues with expensive hifi as i found out. TBH most people will be just dandy with homeplug and they are silly easy to use.

I asked Stu to pop into the beauty salon to grab me a price list as I want to treat my mum to a manicure. I waited in the car.

He was gone for ages.

When he gets back he's been chatting to a couple of the therapists and managed to get himself a course of facials at a discount, and a massage as this salon needs bodies for training purposes.

Last time he popped in they gave him 4 free sessions of reflexology.

He's way too metrosexual.

And he forgot to pick up a price list!

Am I allowed 2 gripes today?

Selasi got voted off bake off. He's a biker baker. Though I've no idea how he transports the cakes to work on his Ducati as I have enough trouble getting mine anywhere on a GS with a top box.

Had to do this inside a couple of years ago. Fortunately the kitchen was completely stripped out and the water pressure is rubbish. The stop tap didn't stop.

Hmm thanks guys... This has just reminded me I need to go and switch the outside tap off under the sink..

Previous owners hadn't bothered one year and left it so it leaked in the cavity once the frost got too it... What made it even better is the idiots got the wall fixed but not the blooming pipe inside.

Turn the house water off at the mains supply by the meter?

I don't know where the stop **** is for it, the main one for the house doesn't stop the supply in the loo, so I had to turn it off at the mains to work on the outside tap, as the isolating valve in the pipe doesn't work

Took bike in for 4000 mile service at suzuki dealership in Valencia; collect bike and gearbox feels clunky, engine feels heavy. Park up to check oil level and yup they've overfilled it. Gonna go back there and get them to remove some oil....
