Default Is there a way to work out the prospective top speed after increasing/decreasing sprocket sizes?

I'm just curious other than anything else.

Yes. Why do you want to change?

I wrote a little widget specifically for the SV ... I could upload the software or if you are interested in certain sprocket combo, let me know what they are and I'll just post the output ...

You will need to measure the circumferance of your rear tyre (in CM)

Remember any calculators are theoretical, SV's won't rev out in top on stock gearing.

I don't at the moment I'm just curious really in case I do one day. I suppose Silverstone got me thinking that I have a top speed 25 or 30 miles an hour above the top speed I acheived and also it'd make the nasty little chicanes easier to manage and the silly hairpin at Mallory.

P.S. Blue I haven't got an SV.

I've read this before but I swear mine hit the rev limiter and bounced off it before reaching it again very slowly a couple of times til I backed off.

What bike is it? can you look up the secondary reductions/ratios?

I can plug those in my widget and make it custom to your bike

For the SV650 the numbers are thus

SV650 Possible configuration 1

General info:-
Wheel circumference = 196cm
Front Sprocket = 15 teeth
Rear Sprocket = 44 teeth
RPM selected at save time = 10500

Speeds with above configuration:-
Speed in gear1 = 50.88 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear2 = 70.46 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear3 = 90.71 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear4 = 111.35 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear5 = 130.22 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear6 = 147.03 MPH @ 10500rpm

SV650 Possible configuration 2

General info:-
Wheel circumference = 196cm
Front Sprocket = 14 teeth
Rear Sprocket = 45 teeth
RPM selected at save time = 10500

Speeds with above configuration:-
Speed in gear1 = 46.43 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear2 = 64.30 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear3 = 82.78 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear4 = 101.62 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear5 = 118.84 MPH @ 10500rpm
Speed in gear6 = 134.18 MPH @ 10500rpm
