Default R.I.P Thomas Strain

For those of us who went on the 2007 St. Andrews Ice cream run, you will remember a bloke who came along with me on a Green Kawasaki 1200.

Last Sunday his life was taken inside Kilmarnock jail under suspicious circumsatnces. He was a great bloke who loved his bikes, could hustle with the best of them, and could get on with almost anybody. The folks here who met and spoke to him will be able to verify this. A sad waste for a man who had his life ahead of him.

His funeral is taking place this Tuesday at 3pm at Dreghorn Crematorium. I've been asked to lead the procession along with 3 other pals from the zx9 forum. He always said that when he went he wished to be escorted by bikes. He'll get his wish now.

May you ride free now wherever you are Tom.

Sorry to hear Jimmy, he was an ok guy from what I saw of him, it was the july run in 2007 that he came to.

We all met at the Little Chef in Cumbernauld and you both came on Kwaks. We also got stopped by the Traffic Polis that day and Chucca had a hard time convincing them that he was in a group of riders (so far in front).

Sincere condolances to you, his family and friends.
