Quad bikes....
Has anyone ever ridden one on the road and what's it like?
Is it more like being in a car or is it still like being on a bike (sorry for the stupid sounding question) Jo. |

It has all the downfalls of a bike and all the downfalls of a car.
You can get it nicked easy You cant filter in traffic You get really wet in bad weather And cold in the winter You are not as safe in an accident So why bother??? They are good for off roading and use on farms... Otherwise get a car or get a bike. Just my humble opinion. |

Jo...The riding of a Quad is much more akin to that of a bike naturally. Although turning being a biker babe you will want to lean when the requirement is to turn the bars. The G forces can throw you a bit if you don't slow down a bit on a Quad as opposed to when on a bike you kind of "go with the flow" more when cornering.
Hope that helps a little our kid. BTW many happy wotsits for whenever it was! |

I rode one for a day in Benedorm a few years ago. It was great fun out in the sticks but in town was horrid. I would not want to ride on over here on the road.
