Routes Wanted

HI all,

As the title say's, i am after some good routes to try out around the MASSIVE area.

Has any one got any good routes with good directions so that i don't get to lost .

If you have any that start at either Devils Bridge or Skipton that would be great but any other ones will do as well. I need to get out further afield to improve my riding.

You can start at Skipton > head towards Ripon and then do this:

If the road is open after Hawes (was shut when we did it last Sunday so had to take a detour) you'll love it.

One that I do regularly is head up to Whalley and from there up through the Trough of Bowland towards Lancaster. From there you can head across to Devils Bridge, down through Long Preston to Gisburn and on to Barrowford. A short hop in the M65 and you're home.

Long preston road is recommended, get to devils then from devils to hawes is one of my favourite stretches of road. Back down through to Settle from Hawes is also very awesome.

Newts, can't help you with any local routes as i'm in the same boat as you. However if you want someone to explore a few routes with gis a shout.

Dunt seem to be much happening this side o t'hills. Looks like the tykes are having all t'fun.

Wouldn't of minded doing the catherine wheel last week but no one was going from over here so decided not to, proper shame.

Im based in south Cumbria and recently got my licence so Ill be looking at riding around Lancs and Cumbria to get abit of experience, weather permitting of course .
