Dunlop are famous for this, OEM on certain Yamaha and Suzuki models

The factory-fit Dunlop Qualifiers on the Gen 3 SVs are total dog-egg. The rear was smooth in the centre - not just beyond the wear indicators, but bald - at 5,000 miles, and the front was done by 8,000. And you'd think that because they wore out so quickly, they might give good grip. Nope. Always felt a bit queasy.

The Avon Storm 3Ds that replaced them are night & day difference - grippy and predictable. And rears lasted at least 10 - 11K miles on my previous K6.

Interesting, although I got bored part way through the torque/hp bit...

I have Phantoms on my T100 as OEMs and everyone on the Trumpet forums says get rid of them in favour of just about anything else, but I do wonder if it's because they're the cheap versions like this vid suggests. There is certainly a very small amount of tread on the front which I was surprised at but with the puny mileage I do it's not going to worry me.

I had qualifiers on the street from new, they were OK, but went off big time as they wore down. The front was still good when the rear was shot. When I put a new rear on it was better than the first that's for sure; handling, grip and mileage.

Now trying the lunacy that is KTM with a Superduke GT. for the pillion capability of course.

Triumph fit supercoursa s to my bike.
Lasted 3,000.
So about normal tbh.
