Default Project Dullsville

As some of you know, i rather whimsically bought Si's old Dullsville over the summer. It has since sat making the front of my house look like a brakers yard....until now. So today I thought I'd make a start as I want it ready for winter. Just look what was waiting for me under all that plastic.

As if painting the rad gold would make people ignore the copious amounts of rust!

Mmmmm, rusty carb tops

Gonna be fun getting those off

A small oil leak evident from cylinder 2!

I'm sure they aren't meant to do that...

Rear caliper now ready for rebuild

Next to get the rocker covers off and do the valve clearences...

Ah, and there was me thinking I'd been sold a sh*tter

Si - if you are reading this mate, I ain't havin a dig. I wanted a project and that's what I got.

I think I will have her up and running good as...er well running by next week anyway. Tappets (they don't have shims apparently) tonight and flush rad out (the water inside was brown). Think one of the fork seals may be leaking though...
