Default Sv carby cuts out

Hi
I have an sv carby...starts and ticks over fine....but when I rev it it instantly cuts out....then takes 5 mins to start.....thought it might be electrical because of the the way it instantly stops.....but then with it taking a little while to start while turning over, seems like it might be fuel starvation?...…..although the way it stops is so instant that I thought it would splutter a little bit before stopping if fuel starvation?....what are peoples thoughts?

Quick test.Try with the filler cap open.Sometimes a blocked cap can cause fuel starvation by causing a partial vacuum.

Thumbs up Re: Sv carby cuts out

Update!!…..So,the problem was,the foam that's glued under the tank was slightly lose....when reving the engine, the air filter would suck it down, enough to cover the air box hole and flood it!!!!...check your foam guys!!...thanks very much for your replys and help..
