For anybody new to track days
I had an email from Focused Events which had this listed on it. Thought it might be some use to somebody just starting out.
NEW CHEQUERED FLAG DATE. The perfect way to build up your confidence on a trackday. The day is based around one to five instruction for the first three quarters of the day. The instructor will teach all aspects of track riding and safely guide you on track progressively raising your skill level. The last quarter of the day is a sessioned track event to give you a taste of the normal track day format. Instruction is still present in these normal sessions and riders are graded and grouped into similar levels of ability and experience. The event will be held at Leicestershire’s Mallory Park Circuit on the 3rd of May. The price is £129 (only suitable for novice or first time track riders). Full details on this event can be found on our website by clicking the button titled “Chequered Flag Days” in the left hand column of the home page. For more information on any of these items please items please look on our web site www.focusedevents.com or call me or the team on 08702646268

Re: For anybody new to track days
wowow - that looks like it would suit me down to the ground.
I've been thinking about a track day for a while, but have been too scared to give it a go. |

Re: For anybody new to track days
Looks quite a good idea.
New Leaf, I will be doing my first track day in your neck of the woods, Snetterton. It is a ducati day and I will be going very very steadily around the track. Why don't you book into that one. I have been reliably informed by a few people that I will enjoy it, even at my own pace. |

That is quality, almost like that top gear effort they did on the car.
