For Sale: Subaru Legacy GT-B 280 bhp
For Sale:
Subaru Legacy GT-B, 1996 N-Reg with 130k kms (approx 80k miles). This is the manual version with 280 bhp and Bilstein suspension as standard. This power is developed from a 2 litre flat four engine fitted with twin turbo chargers. The twin turbos come in sequentially, which make for a nice drive, up to 4k rpm and only one turbo is in play, giving a torquey but relaxed feel to the car, above 4.5k rpm and the second turbo comes in, this is where you appreciate the 4wd and Bilstein suspension. The car has very few mods, the white alloys it came to me with, a turbo timer which was also already fitted. I had to replace the front discs and pads, so I fitted new EBC turbo groove discs and red stuff pads just over a year ago. The rear back box had also rusted through so this has been replaced by a hand made stainless Haywood and Scott back box, a nice subtle sound and not too boy racerish. The car was a Japanese import and I bought directly from the importer in Bradford, now I'm selling the car as I've moved to Holland and the paperwork will be kind of confusing to get through the system (a JDM car from the UK into Holland). The car has a few small scratches on the bumpers, and the wheels aren't perfect. The grill surround now has had some of the stick on (plastic) chrome come off under the car pressure washer, I have a replacement UK blue badged one with the car, which I was only going to fit this after the winter. The delay in selling this has been due to waiting for the windscreen being replaced after getting a large chip/crack in it and moving from the UK, the windscreen has now been replaced and I have left my dad to sell the car on my behalf. The car now has approx 11mths MoT. As such I'm not looking for silly money, GBP 1900 ovno which seems good value for a 145 mph+ family car that handles amazingly. Any questions please post below or pm me, I shall be back in the UK later this week to if you'd like to phone me (number on request). Cheers, Tim |

I would love to mate, but funds don't permit.
Shame. I wanted a play in that!
