They really could have chosen a better slogan

'Bikes go free' - £5/bike to join

I would've done this but Lydden is calling

Unfortunatly there a cost inviolved with an event of this size on the rider conect forum theres a few comments soom people say that the event should be sponsered by shops and businesses after all its they're living that could be affected as well others say it should be a volentry donation, at least a charity gets half of your £5.

I'm going and bringing a small posse from the midlands.

It went ok yesterday good turn out , good mix of bikes and riders which is always good to see shows that the whole biking community is against the proposals, a few seem to be put off by the £5 charge for going on the ride at least half of this money went to charity and the other half went to paying for what was a very well run demo the police did a great job of escorting the run through London and it all ended up in Whitehall at the Cenotaph not far from Downing Street.

This SV650 forum can manage nearly 100 bikes to attend an annual rideout wouldn't it be good to have a 100 turn up to one of these demo rides which may be taking place in other citys and towns such as Bristol and Manchester.
In a nutshell the reason for the ride yesterday was the national goverment has said they will not do road pricing but has handed it over to regional?local councils to decide if they want do it.

Nice to see some SV's on the run.
