10mph = broken elbow, titanium plate, bone graft, 4 ops, 8 months physio.

Remind me not to fall off at 20mph!

I think you missed the sarcasm in my post, the hint was using the smiles.

God, mine was probably 15mph - guess I was lucky with my landing...

Some people bounce better than others. I fell off a ladder last year. Luckily I didn't break anything. Banaman slipped in his garden and broke a leg. As fate will have it.

Not to self. Be more bouncy, don't fall off on the edge of a mountain and roll down it.

Maybe being 23 I've still got bouncy bones on my side although saying that after giving it a day it's pretty painful where I hit the ground...

Mine was about 35 - 45 mph into a crash barrier, I wasn't looking at the speedo at the time!
Yeah smarted quite a bit - nothing broken - couldn't lift my arm for about 10 days. All my shoulder muscles decided they didn't like me anymore. My wife wasn't that impressed either.

Glad you are ok Liam. I do think you bounce better when you are younger.

I think over a certain speed - probably somewhere between 10-15mph - you tend to slide rather than tumble. This is probably better as long as you don't slide into anything, and you're wearing slidey-resistant stuff. Or drop off a cliff.

Especially on ice.

"Integral padding" also helps

Mine was about 25. I had just collected my first big bike after passing my test. I downshifted without pulling the clutch all the way in and the bike highsided me. I landed on my hip and although nothing was broken, I was quite literally bruised black from the waist to mid thigh for 2 weeks. Including the tackle.
