Default ODB2 Reader For My Phone

Can anyone recommend me an ODB2 reader for my phone please?

I have an Android phone and a 2008 BMW and will need to be able to download any software from the PlayStore.

I need to be able to read and reset an error code in my car remotely as its not going to be fixed at the garage for a while (long, very long story) and I wouldn't want anything else to come up while I wait and not know about it. Had a quick look on eBay and I'm really not sure what I should be going for...

Thanks.

I use Torque. but because I also have a VW. ODBEleven.

Torque works well, cleared codes. But I know of dealers who clear codes and then when selling plug in to show the punters there are no codes!

Carly adapters seem to be the number one choice on the E9x Facebook group. I just use a Chinese eBay job and torque however.

As an update I've got one and not got one.

I thought these readers were expensive, but it must have been a while since I looked. After chatting to someone at work I got recommended a MaxiScan MS509 and its doing what I need...
