This is my emergency phone for when I'm out cycling, it's small enough to fit in my seat pack, switched off its battery lasts for months. It'll last for days when switched on.

I also use it as an MP3 player because it has a micro SD card slot and I copied my tunes to a card, and because the battery lasts for ages, it saves the battery on my smart phone.
Im on a three mobile contract which is fine but I couldnt see a button phone option on the website. Maybe I'll pop in their shop and ask a real person. If they still have a shop?

I they don't, then just buy a cheap one, but if it's locked to a provider, make sure it can be unlocked,, and then use your SIM in it. As you won't be using any data, then you can reduce your call package to a basic one

I have a basic candy bar "button" phone for my business number. It often gets laughed at but the call clarity is excellent and the battery lasts for well over a week, which usually shuts people up.

I've got a smart phone. Best invention ever.
Last weekend I used it to navigate around the Brecon beacons footpaths. Find a camp site for the night. Check when the pub down the road stopped serving food took some great photos and shared them with my friends instantly. I then watched to football on it and streamed a radio station based on my personal music tastes all the way home.

I'm also using it to type this.
