Default My new bike!

So, as I have to wait 3 weeks to do my module 2, I thought i would go out and get myself a decent 125 to get some mileage under my belt before I am let loose on the babyblade. Looked at some brand new chinese imports for £999 otr, but went to Kawasaki to see what they had there and Paula knocked £200 off this. It's a Honda CG125, '07 and in great condition, just been fully serviced and they'll put it through it's first MOT for me in a few months for £20. Need to get a sidestand for it so off to look on ebay in a sec, but I'm really please with it and picking it up in the morning.

I was going to get a more sports oriented 125, but didn't like any of them, Felt like I was sat on a knife edge, when on the CBR400RR, I feel like I am sat down in it and although the CG is upright....I still prefer it to the CBR125 and chinese imports. Plus.....this will hold its price well.

I can't wait to go for a bimble tomorrow, even in the rain!

CGs are great little bikes, I'm sure you'll gain all you need on it.

Have fun

Thanks Loz....I'm really looking forward to it. I want to feel more comfortable and natural on a bike so that when I get on the babyblade, I just have to concentrate on getting used to it....not riding in general.

Good call! Makes a lot more sense than a cheap Chinese import.

Enjoy!

£1,500.....better than spending a grand on a chinese import and it being worth nothing in 12 months. At least this will hold it's value well for whoever has it off me in a few months!

True enough about the value...I only paid £400 for mine but then I probably spent another £150 on parts. And mine's a classic too so will hopefully get more should I ever want to sell her...but I admit I'm starting to get attached

good bike but with 16.5stone stuck on its back(me) it wouldn't go over 60mph, other than that it was quite good for the 2 days i rode it
