Anyone from Buxton? What is there to do?
Okay if anyone knows anything about this place help me out.
Arrived here at 7.30pm. Staying at the Buckingham Hotel. Gunna pop into Town Centre in a while to get a pint any good pubs?? Also I have 8 hours to kill 2moro afternoon and evening. What is recommended? Cheears

only just seen this- bums- I live not far from Buxton.. ..
and Esther lives there - Tomcat.. butnot seen her onhere for a while.. you really need drive/ride up the cat and have a brew- BUT . you be all done now- hope u enjoyed it

Poole's Cavern, all them stalactites and stuff. Pavillion Gardens are alright and there's always the Buxton Spring (where they nick the Buxton Spring Water from).

Think its too major to freeze too badly. I was up that neck of the woods earlier on, and it was dryish and not too slippery, but there were deposits of ice where a plough must have been used.
