Default Replace dust seals when replacing fork seals?

Hi,all I have just had my fork seal's changed at the place I bought my sv from.
I feel a little disappointed as they have reused the old dust covers I cant help thinking that these should have been changed also.

My thoughts being if they have let a little grit in and the like this could have been the reason for the seal's to fail in the first place...

Am I being a bit dramatic? I don't know if the dust covers are reused or not normally whats your opinion please ??????

Dust covers can be re-used if they aren't damaged in anyway. Just cleaning them and putting them back on is generally acceptable.

Just check you weren't charged for them

what did you ask them to do? generally a garage or dealer isn't going to waste it doing what isn't asked for
