Both the front and rear brakes are used to stop the motorcycle. At least that's when i use mine. 40K+ on the front pads so far. I've never had to replace brakes on a streetbike except when a caliper had stuck.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
my phone screen has stopped working this morning and it's my sisters wedding this afternoon, so taking pictures is now going to be a bit of a PITA!

http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/3331528 Nothing ruins a wedding quicker than guests all taking photos with flashes going off on their phones or all appearing in the background with their mobiles held up. Unplugged weddings are thankfully becoming more popular and one of my big gripes are 'guest photographers'. If you're that desperate to take photos instead of leaving it to the well paid pro why not use a camera instead of a cr@ppy iphone?

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
At my daughters wedding, the official photographer (Who I was paying) was keen to get a couple of shots where I was the one taking the pics and had me staged with camera pointing at my targets.
She even borrowed my camera to make sure I had a few with me in the group. She did also say she wanted to try my Nikon as she was a Cannon buff.

I think guests should stop going to weddings through a 4" screen and learn to be there to experience and savour the day. Chris is now paying the price of purchasing and then relying on a fruit related telephonic device when he owns a perfectly good camera

Not only weddings....knobs who insist on going to live concerts then record the whole event on their mobiles.
Ffs if you can only enjoy life through a 4" screen you're one sad ba5tard! |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I have a great photo of the Queen at Lord's meeting the teams taken by the pro official photographer, except Her Maj is entirely obscured by the iPad screen of the Palace Press Officer who clearly couldn't wait 5 minutes for the pro to send her the pics. I eventually stepped in and told her to get out of the way.
