Public Transport to AR09
Those that know the area well...what's the easiest method on public transport to get to the campsite?
Is there a bus service that runs near? |

Re: Public Transport to AR09
Not an easy place to get to completely by public transport I'm afraid. It's out in the sticks.
Nearest town of any significance is Maldon which has a fair bus service. Nearest town with a train station is Chelmsford. But there will be people there with cars and possibly even pillion seats so get to one of the above (Maldon 5 miles away, Chelmsford 15 miles) there I'm sure can help you with the last leg of the journey.

Re: Public Transport to AR09
Or pack loads and get someone in a car come to get you from the station, or 2 bikes. 1 for you and 1 for your gear.
I'll happily help out with the latter option mate

Re: Public Transport to AR09
Wouldn't want to put anyone under the stress of having me on the back. I'll get there missus reckons we'll have a car by next week. Still fancy public transport. Says there is a bus stop on the main road by the campsite.
If I don't go in the car I will train it to that place however weird it is and cycle the last 5 mile to the site |
