Default Temp Gauge?

I need to fit a temp gauge to my curvy SV - anyone have any ideas to links for one or would the clocks for a pointy fit instead? Would the electrical connections be a problem?

thanks

Indeed

You probably want to cut to the last page 2&3. I got one from Halfords in the end.

Thanks for that lads, it is for my race bike, so sitting in the holding area, grid, etc is a bit worrying on a hot day - so wanta get it sorted for next season.

Yep, on a track/race bike it is important to know what the temp is ... If you browse through the thread, I couldn't get anyone to understand that!!

I’d be interested if anyone found a sender that is the same size/thread as the ‘overheat’ sender so it could be swapped over as I think down there is a better location for the sender. Where I mounted it up in the rad gives a good enough indication when the water is flowing, lets face it, it has to be better than not knowing at all!!

I was planning to fit Koso Mini LCD thermo and the adapter to radiator hose next winter. Bought them from eBay the other night after a couple of pints

Looking at options for temperaure gauges the LCD one looks good. Have you fitted it yet, Jussi, or at least had a chance to see how easy it will be to fit?

Nope been busy... No we have -20 centigrade at the moment so i am not very busy with her

I still have one loose shock, temp gauge fairing indicators to install plus the braided lines that hopefully will arrive next week - these i will install some weekend when i can have the time.

She already has been painted to new colour
