Default First BP rideout of 2023?

I'd quite like to get out for a few hours riding once the weather picks up a bit. Anyone else interested?

So how about a group rideout as a last hurrah for John's VFR? What do you reckon John?

Sadly there's no chance of that. My wife fell last month and broke her hip. I've given up work to look after her full time. I can't leave her alone too long as she can't get to the loo etc by herself. So whilst I might get out for an hour or so, that's probably about the limit.
I seriously considering cancelling the Transalp but friends talked me out of it. Bikes have always been my release from everyday stresses.

That's not good John. Hope she's not in too much discomfort and making a good recovery.

Hope your wife makes a full and quick recovery, as I am sure all of us on here do. Up to now I for one have been blessed with good health (apart from the back) and it frightens me to s---- that that should change.
Stay strong John best of luck and thankyou.

Thank you both. It's been a stressful few weeks to say the least.
