yes, probably was a cheap shot. Actually surprised the lady in question didn't manage to acquire on on the way home. Suicide Sam reckoned it was repairable with some plastic metal stuff ( he's a mechy ENG so should know) I'll talk to him and find out details, may be cheaper than new mirror

I no longer have the mirror to try repairing it.... don`t know who ended up taking it but I don`t mind paying for a new one so a big bump to this topic |

Have you at least got the lump that attaches to the bike by 2 bolts, up to where the stalk attaches by 1 bolt?

Yep, it broke just above where the stalk attaches to the fairing. So have all the bits.
