Re: Scorpion can - baffles or not?
On a Fuel Injected bike it won't and the system will just add more fuel into the system. Carb'ed it'll run lean, unless rejetted to suit

Scorpion can - baffles or not?
When I fitted my new scorpion exhaust I had planned to stay as legal as I could and was gonna keep the baffle in. But curiosity made me want to hear it with it out! Took me the whole of 5 second to decide it was worth the risk! Defo baffle out. Sounds much sweeter! And I actually think it might still be legal. Guess ill find out when she goes in for her MOT!
I am so proud of her when we're pulling away from traffic lights etc |

Scorpion can - baffles or not?
It took a lot of wd40 and man handling to get my baffles out (seized in) and after all of that, they shall not be going back in!

Re: Scorpion can - baffles or not?
My bikes just wayyyy too loud without a baffle installed lol so for my daily commute i leave it in and on the weekend when my inner child comes out to play the baffle suddenly disappears ... its like magic!

Re: Scorpion can - baffles or not?
The last two nights I've come home on my baffleless Tiger 1050 at 3am and let me tell you, you kind of wish you had 'em in when that happens! It's a case of getting into 4th gear by about 15mph, and then pulling the clutch in and coasting towards the drive, popping it into neutral before you hit the drive and engine off before you even come to a halt!
I think a bit of baffle action would make these late night homecomings a little less stressful!
