I am literally so happy that our school shuts at lunchtime on the 23rd...

Oh it's this Friday. How awful for the kids. Embarrassing clap trap!

It was composed by children and their music teacher at St John's CofE Primary in Bradford, and adopted by the One Britain One Nation campaign, set up by former Bradford police officer Kash Singh

For an Indian to tell us we need to be proud of UK and then be howled down by the Twitter mob takes the biscuit...

OK, some regret in the harshness of my critism of the lyrics now I know children wrote it...it explains the lyrics. And to be fair to them I actually found the full 'Anthem' on OBOFF's website and there is much more to the song than the brainwash-chorus that was cropped on that tweet.

Still a 0/10 for execution of that campaign

So is it fake news that the government is pushing this or not?

Government bodies are 100% pushing this. The Department of Education are pushing it to schools (however really lackluster so doubt any actually did it - it's extra curricular not statuatory).
