Nothing to do with the cost, still own my race bike and will be attending track days this year. Just been there and done that, bought the t-shirt. 10 years racing experience is enough for me to think that doing it for longer would not make any difference, other things I would like to do.

handles like a frickin sofa though, will need a good once over to sort suspension and tyres. Something to do at the weekend then eh.

The whole point of christening it is that you've been there and done that with a sorted race bike...you just need to crack on now with your road bike (like the rest of us! lol)
