Thanks to everyone involved, no thanks whatsoever to whoever sold us the comedy rear suspension on Red, extra special thanks to Joe, Manuel and James for their invaluable pit crew work.

So even though I felt hopelessly slow all day, I enjoyed it immensely!

If an SV650 has a flat tyre in the forest and no-one is there to blow it up, how long will it be 'til someone posts that the reg/rec is duff and the world will end unless a CBR unit is fitted? A little bit of knowledge = a dangerous thing.

A video from one of the afternoon sessions, unedited I'm afraid, I was riding the yellow bike with the camera, we'd stitched Dave up with the red bike with the concrete shock, and Sid Squid was on the blue and white SV.

You overtook me, and a fair few others too. Besides, as they say on top gear, if it doesn't look dramatic it's probably a fast lap

I got fed up of overtaking people and looking slow in the pictures so am now championing style over substance
