ok just finished the prototype and all is well.

buuut they are going to take me ages so it'll be a long wait folks i'm hoping that i'll be able to do about 5 a day with luck also my bloooody ratchet crimper has decided to start playing funny burgers so a new one of those is in order.

waiting on my camera charging then its photo time

here we are:

the battery tails are staggered and will be longer on the finished items

the Acc tails can be made with normal crimp bullets like you get in halfords if desired. the ones i have used are called Japanese Connectors and are the type found on some motorcycles and can be soldered on if you don't have the proper crimp tool. i will supply the 3 male bullets along with the unit.

the rear brake switch connector is to trigger the relay when bike starts (don't worry it wont turn on and off with the brake light)

there are 3 5amp fuses supplied + the relay

Looks good, well done.

Any reason you use the brake light instead of the spare location on the main fuse board? Ease of plug n play?

yup just for ease and idiot proof. same connector is used for sidelights. plus the gizmo can be take off at any time with no sign that it has ever been installed. might even transfer to other bikes.
