don't go for performance initially as the current set-up won't handle it (stock set-up is poor)

depending upon budget, consider these first:

- front fork service and new springs for your weight (DIY £100, getting someone to do it circa £220)
- Rear shock swap (from about £50 upwards)
- Braided lines and brake service (DIY £80- £120 if there is nothing fubared)
- Engine Service if needed
- Tires: Sports touring are best as very few road riders could find the limit of edit: road legal slicks

If you use the search function most of the answers will be there as most have been done to the death.

yeh suspension first, then go for power the stock suspenders can't handle the standard power as it is.

then "power" mods i have done are
can (no cat at all as k3's dont have them)
K&N
cut snorkel
Tank risers
Rear exhaust cams (curvy intake)
velocity stacks

mods that will be done soon
R6 throttle mod (less turn to WOT)
ignition advance

mods that i want to do
hayabusa pistons + hone (lighter, less stress on crank) ps any one got more info
remap stock ECU (pull snorkel completely)

in total it will have cost me a few £'s

just bling crap to relive you of your hard earned cash.

if you want more power get a super sport of some description.

the sv is a V twin 650cc 'budget' bike you have to spend serious amounts of cash for not a lot of gain.

as others have said spend the cash where it matters and replace the crap suspension/brakes which in turn believe it or not lets you ride the bike faster. the sv chassis is a peach and once unleashed with decent suspenders is a joy to behold.

Suspension- Forget performamance. If you aren't happy with the SV performance buy a Supersport 600.

First point would be to learn the proper names for what you are talking about.

Firstly in electronics, they are called resistors, we make suggestions on here, and your exhaust would have a Lamda Sensor in it.
