Default Anyone here a vet or know one well?

My cat has kidney failure despite being quite young. We manage it with diet, he doesn't like the special food but eats it reluctantly.

I've just been reading about a newish medicine on the market for CKD in cats and would like to get a opinion of a vet.

My own vet is very good but away at the moment and the younger vets at the surgery aren't all that clued up.

So if anyone on here has a veterinary friend I'd be keen just to find out if they think this drug is worth wrestling with a big moggy every morning to get it into his mouth

Hi LPH,

I had a serious problem that my vet couldn't sort so I got referred to the TV Supervet - AKA Fitzpatrick Referrals next to Godalming in Surrey. They will sort your problem but it may be 'ouch' expensive.
