Another question from 'newbie' me....
Did a search through previous posts and couldn't seem to find the answer. Could someone help with this.....
I've found an exhaust can I finally like - nice looking/good price. It's from a company called MRS. They show SV650 cans listed as 99> I emailed them and asked if it will fit an 05 bike. Got their reply which said yes. Now, other companies list different cans for different years of SV, which confuses me somewhat. Is this can likely to fit all model years - pointy and curvy. Are all the mounting locations the same, angles and 'run' of pipework etc. Don't want to buy it, cutr my pipe and find it doesn't fit. Thanks. |

Most cans will fit so long as the link pipe is the correct one for the model. There is a difference between the curvy and flat shaped SV's. I would just make sure that they are going to send you the correct link pipe.

Early and late SV's use the same diameter 50mm? intake cans so it will fit.
As Bigape said you will just need the correct year link pipe, you can buy these else where if needs be.. |
