use this for the area you guys are planning to ride
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/w...Weather&zoom=8 if you move the bar at the bottom to sunday then click it along a few hours at a time you'll see there a band of wet weather forecast to cross the country from south east to north west, with drier weather behind it, so the further east you go and the later into the afternoon, the drier the weather is forecast to be coventry it looks like it will be wet all day because the back of that band of rain hasn't got past there until 4 in the afternoon get east of the M1 as early in the day as you can, or leave it a bit later in the day, if todays forecast is right then maybe roads will still be wet and you'll get the odd shower, but it shouldn't be a wash out trouble with weather forecasts is they concentrate on what it'll be like in one fixed place, motorbikes can cross the country much quicker than the weather so you have to look at weather patterns instead HTH, have fun! If it rains....... you will get wet, you and the bike's wont dissolve. You lot fret to much about rain, this the uk. just get out and have fun.
