lucky lucky bugger or karma...
Lucky lucky lucky bugger…….or karma
So its been raining all week and I’m stuck on night shift…boring. Yesterday Thursday night coming into work, Thought I was going to go to work on my bike……to enjoy my ride home. I’ll Pop out at lunch time pick up my bike and enjoy my ride home. Last minute leaving home I was running late so to took the car…. Could not pop out from work, heavy work schedule, no time. Thinking about next time of riding………. On the way home. Got near my home. Stopped at a T junction, Looked left, Looked right, And wallop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some lady crashed into the back of my car pushing it @4 feet into the main road. I was going to be on my bike / should have been on my bike. With that much force I would have flown across the road.. Still cant believe it. Close call or what. Thanks lady luck………….well she did say she’ll behave. i guess there is always a reason why u cant ride.. still dreading to think what could have happened.

Glad to hear you are alright T.
Mind you, if you had been on your bike you would have already left that junction by the time she arrived. Its like the speeding adverts. At 30mph the child would have lived, at 40mph they would die................at 50mph you would have already gone past them. |

Re: lucky lucky bugger or karma...
glad your ok dude. Same thing happened to me last year except the bitch was doing 70 and i was staionary. As to say back end went throug the rear window and car spun widely into a motor way barrier stopping the car going of a bridge.funny thing is it was the only bit of barrier left during road works.to the left or right i was a goner . Survived tho even tho i could not move! Lady luck again

Re: lucky lucky bugger or karma...
What's the child doing going 40mph anyway? There's laws against these things you know!
Another way of looking at it (Awaits flaming...) is at 30mph there's still a witness... (Just kidding people. Please don't ostracize me!) |

Bugger Tony! well, nothing harm done to you so lets just hope the insurance goes through without too much fuss. And very good job you weren't on the bike, you'd have ended up like Paws.

Glad your OK.
On the bike you wouldn't have been at that junction at that time though, you'd have been home for ten minutes and putting the kettle on. |
