Re: SW Motech Centre Stand
hahaha.. i like your answer. i think you might find the lack of somewhere to grab the back end a bit of a hindrance. have you tried youtube for a tutorial and tips?

Re: SW Motech Centre Stand
It comes with a handle that bolts in to the rear foot peg, even with that I can't get the leverage needed. I honestly think the stand is too long or the stand isn't in the right spot for correct balance.
Oh well, out of all the money I've spent on bikes and parts for them this is the first one that has been a waste so I shouldn't complain. On the whole this SV has been the best fun for the money I have ever spent! |

Re: SW Motech Centre Stand
Better off buying an ABBA stand. Yes I know having a centre stand is damned convenient, but not if you can't get the bike onto it.
Its all about leverage & the balance point of the bike.

Re: SW Motech Centre Stand
This was specifically because when I'm loaded with luggage it seems an awful lot of weight on the side stand especially in fields. And the damn scooters in London park too close if mine is on the side stand and there's no room to stand the bike upright to get it out. Centre stand would fix both of those issues.

SW Motech Centre Stand
That stand is not easy to use. Due to the shape/design of the SV, where it is obliged to fit is not the ideal spot which is, I suspect, another reason why Suzuki didn't fit and don't offer one.
