Re: Forks aren't so smooth after rebuild
no they support both ends then use a press in the middle with leather and soap pad while moving it back/fourth and round.

The lowers are probably damaged as forks appear to be bent between the stanchion and the lower. However I can't imagine the damper rods have taken any damage - might see if i can get something for those on ebay. Or even modify them and fit them with emulators to whatever I replace them with.

Re: Forks aren't so smooth after rebuild
Yss emulators get my approval, much better than standard setup when with ktech springs but a fraction of a gixxer swap. Not as impressive to look at mind

Re: Forks aren't so smooth after rebuild
Depends on how much you want for them and how much the shipping is. Oh and the pound has just dropped in value. Rats!
Don't know anyone with a Busa or anyone called Graham eBay suggests postage from US is over £100 so probably not worth it. Thanks for the offer though.

Re: Forks aren't so smooth after rebuild
...Graham would buy you a pint if you said "Hapo" to him...just sayin'...
...I am mildly surprised he has not made a public enough **** of himself on his Busa to gain your attention, but there are a lot of you buggers crowding the place, eh.... |
