It's gone a bit floppy
My wing mirror hinge - the one where it folds in at, not the ball joint - is not as stiff as it used to be.
It's either from folding them in too often or from one time hitting someone. Is there any way to tighten it up? ( but I'll need to keep folding it in) Many thanks |

It could just be an age related thing.
Maybe it's user abuse? |

Naked or faired? I know on the naked there's a nut you can tighten under the rubber cap where the mirror stalk joins the bars. Give that a go.

True if naked it's easier to check the nuts for tightness. I think Stu has a S model tho.

Stu has an S model. Get the allen key from the tool kit and tighten the bolt where the stalk joins and bends at the fairing. Otherwise your mirrors will bend back in the headwind.

It's annoying when someone bends it down to park their bike next to yours and then it won't stay in the right spot afterwards. At least they have alignment markers. Anyway, quick to fix with an allen key.
