Default 50,000 Miles and still going

My curvy hit 50,000 miles yesterday (its her 3rd Birthday in Jan) and she is still going strong, and going a bit rusty too!
She seen 2.5 winters now and been binned a couple of times not always my fault

I have to say I think her Winters are numbered now, I had some electrical gremlins at the w/end and the connecters had seen better days, but the price of a New SV, I really can't grumble.

Totally agree there - that is impressive!

In fact I admire all the higher mileage SV riders - you show commitment where I would be running for the car!

Awesome, hats off to you, I hope mine makes it that far, I can't see it though, it doesn't get loved enough in the Winter

50K miles and 95K miles? This makes me very happy, since I know that my SV can go atleast this far. I do hope it out lives me.

Horizontal's '99 SVS is just coming up on 100,000 miles, (I'm not exactly sure but definately in the high 90s), it's required a healthy amount of consumables of course but is largely original, recently needing discs and cailpers and it's required a rear shock every so often, (British roads ).
Considering most of it's life has been commuting and lots of town miles I think it's lasting very well. Motor's still fine, bike's a rusty wreck and a testament to Suzuki engineering that a machine can be so awfully abused and neglected and still go on for so long working so well.
