Today I got to play with a trainee guide dog - he's being trained by the same family who trained Lewis (Coolgirl's guide dog).
Now I defy anyone to look at this pic and not say 'aaawwwwwww'.

Just popped into Aldi to pick up some ice packs - which they didn't have.
However now trying to tell myself that I REALLY don't need an inflatable 2 man kayak. For £39.99! Only reason I'm not currently the owner of one is I went on the SV and it wouldn't fit in my rucksack. Still probably a load of rubbish anyway.

Yes but then I'd always be a lot poorer, with a garage full of useless crap.
Sometimes having a moment to reflect is a good thing. If I'd bought it I'd then need to fork out on buoyancy aids etc. for my 8 and 5 year old. Even more bulky useless crap in the garage.

The cleaner on the Jubilee line at Stratford this morning. Walking down the train collecting litter with a big smile, saying good morning to everyone, wishing them a nice day at work. People responded by smiling back and saying hello. London can be a friendly place sometimes but it takes some decent people to remind us.
